I remember coming up with the concept for this strip and the biggest priority was trying to make Bob look as cute and as adorable as possible. Hopefully, this has worked.

A friend of mine said this was obviously a filler strip. I said, "it's called a setup dear" It leads to clues as to why Bob ran off in the first place. It's unheard of that Bob would run away from diamonds and yet he did. Whatever it is, it's something very important.

Like I said in the newsies, I've heard a lot of theories as to what it was that made Bob run off and each and everyone one of them are wrong.

So try harder!
